A. If use iron vessel, the iron can act with the components such as tannide, glycosides (rhubarb and multiflower knotweed root) ,that can change drug ¡®s property losing its efficacy.

C. Not use boiling water to decoct TCM drugThe active ingredients existed in herbal medicine distribute evenly in the herbal cells. If used boiling water to decoct the drugs, the protein and starch etc. in it could be in solidification that made herbal cell not easy to break, so the active ingredients couldn¡¯t be released out to play their role against disease.Before decoction, soak the drug into cold water for a time.
